Unprecedented turnout at Open Day in spite of inclement weather2018 November 14
Interest in Computer Science and related disciplines topped the bill at the annual TCD Open Day which was held on Saturday 10th November. More than 1,200 attended lectures and mingled with staff and students to hear more about the ‘science’ of Computer Science, our many courses and career paths.
Our student ambassadors turned out in numbers to help prospective students make more informed choices about their college courses and learn the ‘whats’, ‘whys’ and the ‘how to’ relating to all courses on offer.
If you know of any second level students who couldn’t make it to Open Day and who would like to find out more about any of our courses, ask them to make contact with us. Likewise, those who attended and reflected on the day may also have unanswered questions.
Shadowing day experiences are offered to prospective students on many of our courses in the months of February and March each year. Early application to firstname.lastname@example.org is advised as spaces are limited.
Undergraduate courses on offer at our School include:
BA (Mod) /MCS in Computer Science
BA (Mod) in Computer Science and Language
BA (Mod) in Computer Science and Business
BA (Mod) in Management Science and Information Systems Studies
BAI/MAI in Computer Engineering
Our thanks to all who participated - prospective students, parents, and our students and staff at the School.
